Yesterday, WWE Network presented the Greatest Royal Rumble Event. The event took place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in front of 70,000+ members of the WWE Universe.

Here's a breakdown of what happened:

• The show got started with a renewed rivalry between John Cena and COO Triple H. After a decent battle, John Cena pinned Triple H for the win.
• During the Intercontinental Championship, the participants put on one heck of a show. Finn Baler was inches away from winning the coveted championship. It wasn't until Seth Rollins jumped from the top rope, to the ladder, and grabbed the championship, securing the victory.
• The Smackdown Tag Team Championship was predictable, as no one has been able to defeat The Bludgeon Brothers. While The Usos did put up a fight, it wasn't a strong enough effort to win the championship. The Bludgeon Brothers continue to dominate the Tag Team Division on Smackdown.
  
• The Raw Tag Team Championship was one of my favorite matches. "Woken" Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt squared off against The Bar. The new pairing of Hardy and Wyatt was surprisingly strong. In fact, it was strong enough to delete The Bar and win the championship.
• After the Raw Tag Team Championship, Matt Hardy's brother Jeff squared off against Jinder Mahal for the United States Championship. While Jinder gave it everything he had, it wasn't enough to overthrow Grand Slam Hardy, who retained the championship.
• The Undertaker vs. Rusev Casket Match was one of the most highly anticipated matches of the night. Many viewers complained that The Undertaker's entrance was too long, which I somewhat agree with. However, whether the entrance is long or short, it still takes your breath away when you see The Phenom make his way to the ring. Rusev dodged the match a few times before The Undertaker grasped hold of him and threw him in the ring. Both men put up a good fight. Aiden English, Rusev's lap dog, definitely tried to get involved in the match. However, with The Undertaker having decades of experience in the ring, he was able to hold his own. Once he got Rusev in the casket, he put Aiden English in there with him and closed the door. The Deadman proved once again that the ring is still his yard.
• Another highly anticipated match-up was between AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamara. With Nakamara turning heel after their match at WrestleMania, the rivalry has been at a dangerously high level. The match at the Greatest Royal Event was supposed to put the rivalry to bed. Sadly it did not, as it ended in a double count-out.
  I have to add, I love Nakamara as a heel.
  
• The Universal Championship Steel Cage Match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesner ended in serious controversy. Both men went through the cage and landed on the ground outside. The ref proclaimed Lesner the winner of the match, as his back landed first. The rules of the Steel Cage Match states that a person can only be a winner if BOTH FEET have touched the ground. If the ref had been going by the book, he would have clearly seen that Reigns' feet touched the ground first (I rewatched the moment several times. Reigns should be the winner). Social media is in agreement that Reigns was robbed of the title...once again.
  
• The last match of the night was the first-ever 50 man Royal Rumble match. We saw some big returns in Hornswaggle, Hall of Famer Mark Henry, The Great Khali, and Chris Jericho. Daniel Bryan started at number one and lasted for well over an hour, setting a record. The highlight of the match was when Titus O'Neil came out. As Titus was nearing the ring, he slipped and ended up flying under the ring. I don't need to tell you that social media erupted in laughter (myself included). #TitusWorldSlide trended for quite sometime yesterday, and memes are already circulating the internet.
  When Braun Strowman came in at #41, the entire game changed. He eliminated 13 men and eventually was the last man standing. Strowman was given a large trophy and championship belt by both Mr. McMahon and a Saudi representative.
  

Next week's Raw and Smackdown episodes are definitely going to be interesting.

WWE Backlash is the next PPV event and will air one week from Sunday on WWE Network.

Two days ago, Amazon released news that they will be increasing the price of their annual Prime membership plan. The membership will increase from $99 to $119, effective May 11, 2018. This is the first Prime price hike since March of 2014. The reason for the increase is being attributed to rising cost of service demands.

Amazon's Chief Financial Officer Brian Olsavsky released the following statement on the increase:
"The value of Prime to customers has never been greater. And the cost is also high, as we pointed out especially with shipping options and digital benefits, we continue to see rises in costs. So effective May 11, we're going to increase the price of our U.S. annual plan from $99 to $119 for new members. The new price will apply to renewals starting on June 16. Prime provides a unique combination of benefits, and we continue to invest in making this Prime program even more valuable for our members. As a reminder, we haven't increased the U.S. annual price Prime since our single increase, which was in March of 2014."

The popularity of Amazon Prime has increased significantly through the years, due to the following attractive features:

• Access to TV shows, movies, and music.
• Kindle Unlimited

Amazon Prime has over 100 million paid members throughout the globe. These existing Prime members will have until June 16 to renew their subscription at the current $99/yr price.

During the last couple of days, I been monitoring what people on social media had to say about the price hike. Surprisingly, many are on-board with the increase. The reason being that the free shipping balances out the increase, making the extra $20/yr worth it. Other people are outraged, threatening to discontinue their membership immediately.

As a Prime member, I have no problem paying an extra $20/yr on the membership. As a first time mom, I love the 2-day shipping incentive. Lord knows I can't have a delay in receiving diaper and formula shipments! LOL!

After his surprising return and win over John Cena, The Undertaker will enter the squared circle again to battle Rusev in a Casket Match at the Greatest Royal Rumble in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. WWE announced the contest this morning.
The rules of the Casket Match is for a WWE superstar to trap their opponent inside the casket and close the lid. The match is a classic Undertaker contest.

The Undertaker's return sent shockwaves throughout the WWE Universe. No one was more shocked than John Cena, who received word of the Undertaker's arrival during WrestleMania. He was told by an official that The Undertaker had arrived, and he subsequently raced backstage. Later on, Cena came out in his wrestling gear and waited in the ring. His excitement turned to disappointment when Elias came out instead of the Deadman. Cena was livid. He took out his aggression on Elias. Cena departed the ring and headed backstage. Suddenly, the arena became dark and The Undertaker's music came on. Moments later, The Deadman appeared. The Undertaker and Cena battled for a few minutes, with the Deadman putting Cena out with a tombstone and the 1, 2, 3.

The Undertaker had never looked better. He didn't miss a beat, and I cannot wait to see him put an end to Rusev Day on April 27 (sorry guys, but The Undertaker is my all-time favorite wrestler. I have to root for him).

This past week, we were rocked by a series of Hollywood breakups. In Bachelor Nation, we were rocked by the splitting of two strong couples: Engaged couple Clare Crawley and Benoit Beausejour-Savard, and Dean Unglert and Lesley Murphy.

What went wrong with our favorite 'Bachelor' couples?
Dean and Lesley announced their split on Friday, after 4 months together. Long distance is being blamed for their split.

Engaged couple Clare and Benoit released a joint statement regarding their breakup:

If you shopped at Best Buy between September 27, 2017 and October 12, 2017, your payment information may have been hacked via their online chat services. According to Best Buy, hackers were able to get a hold of credit card information.
 


The electronics retailer released a statement, saying:
"As best we can tell, only a small fraction of our overall online customer population could have been caught up in this...incident whether or not they used the chat function."

Best Buy joins Sears and Delta Air Lines in the latest of data breeches via chat services.

Best Buy will be reaching out to customers who were impacted by the data breech, and they will not be responsible for any charges that may have occurred during the data breech.

23 years after Empire Records took over the world, it looks like the man is saving/resurrecting the Empire.
A musical version is currently in the works, with original writer Carol Heikkinen working to adapt the script for the stage. The announcement was made on Friday.

Heikkinen said this about the musical:
"The movie was really about a family that formed among these minimum-wage record clerks. There’s a lot of nostalgia now for those old record stores where you could go and talk to people who loved the same music you loved, and discover new bands. We hope the musical will capture the memory of what it was like to be young in a time before iTunes and Spotify – music is such an important part of the youth experience, and it’s what brings these characters together."

If you're wondering if "sexy Rexy's" song "Say No More, Mon Amour" will be in the musical, those close to the musical report that the song will be "weaved in in an unexpected form."

So, when can we expect "Empire Records: The Musical?" The goal is for the musical to hit Broadway in 2020, as a celebration of the film's 25th anniversary.
The musical does not have a director or a creative team as of yet.

My Two Cents

Empire Records came out when I was 13 years old. From the moment it came out, it was my favorite movie of all-time. I loved the characters, I loved the story, and I especially loved the music. The movie continues to be my all-time favorite movie.
If the musical makes it to Broadway, you can bet your bottom dollar that I will be on a train to NYC and I will be there opening night.

My inner teenager is jumping up and down in excitement, belting out "Sugar High."

Behold the power of love! Maria and Mike Kanellis welcomed a baby girl on Wednesday. Her name is Fredica Moon. According to wwe.com, both mom and baby are doing well.

Maria Kanellis has been chronicling her pregnancy on Instagram. She has recorded herself staying fit and active, right up to the last week. The videos have been inspiring for many women out there. I love her posts and they inspired me to stay active during my pregnancy.

According to the British Royal Society for Public Health, a survey was conducted last year and it showed that Instagram was ranked as the worst social media platform for well-being and overall mental health.
The social media platform is famous for photo and video sharing. At times, some of the photo and video sharing can result in negative body image and cyber-bullying.

Instagram has taken notice and they want to make some changes. An entire team of people are working hard to ensure that people feel better about themselves. Appropriately dubbed the "Well-being Team," the team is focused on the well-being of the Instagram community. Instagram spokesperson Eva Chen had this to say about the Well-being Team:
"Making the community a safer place, a place where people feel good, is a huge priority for Instagram. I would say one of the top priorities."

So, how will Instagram cut down on negative well-being?
Instagram plans to fortify the offensive comment filters by automatically hiding the inappropriate comments. Also, users will have the capability to create their own filters for comments. Instagram will also implement a team that will review anonymous reports of people who may require mental health support. Those that need mental health support will be connected with organizations that can help others feel better about themselves.

Outside of Evan Chen, Instagram has not commented on these changes, as they are still in development.
