A few days ago, I wrote about the rumors swirling about Kevin Owens and Paul Heyman joining forces. Sad news to report, it looks like this will not come to fruition.
According to reports, WWE creative has no plans to link up Heyman with Owens after Owens "quit" Raw this past Monday, saying that both characters are strong enough to be on their own. However, there are new rumors suggesting that Paul Heyman may become the advocate for Raw Women's Champion Rowdy Ronda Rousey. This is where I have a problem. Ronda Rousey is doing just fine on her own. Linking her up with Paul Heyman would end her career. Rousey is like the female version of Stone Cold Steve Austin. She needs to stay on her own, with the DTA (Don't trust anyone) mentality. Remember when Austin joined forces with Vince McMahon? People hated him. Better yet, remember when The Undertaker joined forces with Paul Heyman? It was terrible TV. Maybe WWE Creative can hook Paul Heyman up with an up-and-comer from NXT. *shrugs* Readers: Who should Paul Heyman manage next? Let me know in the comments below.

![]() Rejoice, Bachelor nation! A new Bachelor has been chosen. While the exact person has not yet been named, ABC has revealed that he is from Becca Kufrin's season of The Bachelorette. The choice was narrowed down to 3 men: Jason Tartick, Colton Underwood, and Blake Horstmann. It's no secret that Jason Tartick, 29, was a fan favorite. He was much different than the rest of the men. He was more together than the rest of the men, and he didn't come with any controversy. Tartick mentioned to Glamour that he is more than open to being the next Bachelor if the opportunity presented itself. Runner-up Blake was another fan favorite, and viewers were drawn to his sweet personality. He was another man who didn't have any controversy and he stayed out of the drama. Last but not least, we have Colton. Colton came with a lot of controversy, having dated Becca's friend Tia previous to being on the show. The folks over at ABC think he would be a good Bachelor because he's a sensitive guy and a virgin. He would be the next Sean Lowe. Underwood, 26, told US Magazine that he would love to be the next Bachelor if Bachelor in Paradise didn't work out. Colton is currently romancing Tia on BIP. However, if he is in the running for becoming the next Bachelor, something tells me that he and Tia didn't make it past Mexico. Social media loved the fact that Blake and Jason could be possible Bachelors. Many fans weren't happy about Colton being in the running, some even threatened to boycott the show. I get it, Colton would make for good TV. It would be a security blanket for ABC execs, having another sensitive virgin as the leading man. However, I think it would make more sense to have either Blake or Jason be the next Bachelor. Reality Steve, who has been correctly predicting the next Bachelor/Bachelorette for years, said that Colton Underwood will be the next Bachelor. I guess it's just easier to go with what's comfortable and what has already been done. Frankly, and I think I speak for most of Bachelor Nation, the other two men would make for better leading men. Bachelor Nation: Who would you rather see as the next Bachelor? Let me know in the comments below. A reminder that the next season of The Bachelor will premiere in January of 2019. Bachelor in Paradise is still ongoing and we are halfway through the journey. source: www.usmagazine.com/entertainment/news/abc-chooses-the-next-bachelor-is-it-colton-jason-or-blake/ ![]()
It's a sad state of affairs when you have to choose between childcare and paying your rent. This is the reality of many families across the United States. According to care.com, the average monthly cost for childcare in the United States is $1,385. This average for childcare is almost as much as the US average for monthly rent, which is $1,500.
The staggering amount for childcare has parents working multiple jobs just to afford childcare alone, let alone rent/mortgage. In some states, childcare for one year can cost up to $20,000! With how expensive childcare can be, financial planners recommend the following solutions:
My Two Cents For the past two months, I been desperate to get an outside job and to find adequate care for my infant son. With the unbelievable amount being charged for childcare, and the horror stories I've heard about abuse/neglect/leaving kids in cars, I'm thinking I should stay home with him and kick butt working from home. For the families out there, it isn't fair that parents have to practically kill themselves just to have childcare so they can work to provide for their family. It doesn't make sense! When you have time to spend with those babies, you're too tired to do anything with them. I really hope this changes. People shouldn't have to kill themselves working just to pay for daycare and rent. Our babies need us healthy. They want to spend time with us. We shouldn't be too tired to play with them. Earlier this month, the WWE Universe was stunned when Becky Lynch turned on her best friend Charlotte Flair, the newly crowed Smackdown Women's Champion. The Triple Threat Match between Lynch, Flair, and Carmella was an impressive contest. Lynch came very close to becoming champion on a few occasions. It was Flair who won the championship that day.
At first, it looked like Lynch was in her friend's corner, hugging and congratulating her. Suddenly, Lynch attacked Charlotte, beating the hell out of her. The WWE Universe was shocked. The following Tuesday, Lynch spoke about her actions, saying that she was tired of being denied championship opportunities, and was upset that Charlotte was handed opportunities left and right. She turned her anger toward the WWE Universe, saying that she feels the fans haven't been behind her the whole time. Becky Lynch's heel turn has actually won her fans over even more, with many saying that she was right for attacking Charlotte Flair. Becky Lynch has been a babyface for most, if not all, of her WWE career. The last time she ever turned the slightest bit heel was in 2015 during her time at NXT. Lynch has always been the "sidekick" and "the underdog." While she was the Inaugural Smackdown Women's Champion in 2016, she hasn't had much luck returning to the championship scene. She has had friends turn heel on her left and right, including Charlotte Flair. To be honest, we haven't seen Lynch stand on her own much. People underestimate how great Lynch can be on her own, and she will show us exactly what she is made of. A heel turn will guarantee her a championship win, and here's why. We already know that Lynch is a fiery competitor. With that extra shot of aggression (the heel turn), she can easily win herself the Smackdown Women's Championship from Flair next month. She is an unpredictable heel and sometimes doesn't know her own intense strength. She needs to harness her heart, her desire to become champion, and her aggression into her match. She needs to unleash on Flair. She needs to remember everything that Flair has done to her throughout her career. She needs to remember all those opportunities Flair was handed. Don't get me wrong, Flair is a great WWE Superstar, but she does have it somewhat easier because of her name. I believe that Lynch will win the championship from Flair next month. I also believe that her reign will be long, probably lasting into next year. This is Becky Lynch's time. The one thing that could hurt Lynch is if she gets DQ'd. Last year, Dunkin' Donuts revealed its plan to drop the 'Donuts' from the Dunkin' Donuts name, and go by 'Dunkin.' The chain unveiled its first name change in MA in late 2017. Now, it has expanded to 30 Dunkin' stores in the Boston area, and another 20 nationwide.
The brand is also expecting to redesign the stores, introduce nitro infused cold brews, and digital kiosks. Dunkin' Donuts released a statement, saying that any decisions regarding name changes and rebranding aren't permanent...yet. They will be making an official decision later this year. The name change has caused a ton of confusion on social media. Many are (seriously) wondering if Dunkin' will still sell donuts. Others were angry with the popular chain for the name change. Many customers said that the chain invented donuts, and that they need to "keep the name forever." One Twitter user said that "keeping the donut in the name keeps the franchise accountable for making good donuts, as those are the focus." Readers: What do you think of the name change? Do you think Dunkin' Donuts will make it a permanent name change? Will you still be a customer if they change the name permanently? On Tuesday, popular social media platform Instagram said that it plans to launch a feature that will allow users to see ads, the country, and username changes from various accounts. The feature will be entitled "About This Account." Other details will also be made available to users.
Here's what Instagram Chief Technology Officer and co-founder Mike Krieger had to say about the changes: "Keeping people with bad intentions off our platform is incredibly important ... that means trying to make sure the people you follow and the accounts you interact with are who they say they are, and stopping bad actors before they cause harm." Instagram will also allow the use of third-party apps (Google Authenticator and DUO Mobile) for 2-factor authentication. This will help users log into their accounts securely. Facebook introduced a similar feature for managed fanpages that have a large American following. Basically, average social media users, such as myself, will be able to find out if fanpages on either Instagram or Facebook are legit. If they aren't, we can let Instagram know right away so no one contributes to the fanpage, monetarily speaking. You can tell if a popular page is legitimate by a star or check by the person's name/picture. That means the fanpage was verified. source: www.euronews.com/2018/08/28/instagram-says-users-can-now-evaluate-authenticity-of-accounts ![]()
The WWE rumor mill continues to churn out some deliciousness for the WWE Universe to salivate over. Along with the rumor of Kevin Owens maybe joining forces with Paul Heyman, we now have the possibility of a Roman Reigns vs The Rock at WrestleMania 35 in 2019.
Yes, this is an actual rumor, and it's one that is generating a lot of buzz on social media. What's interesting about this rumor is that Vince McMahon himself has been interested in stirring the pot between these two real-life cousins. The Rock said back in July that he cannot wait to get back into the squared circle. There are rumors that The Rock may try to join the 2019 Royal Rumble, and some have even predicted that he could win. *drinks some tea* If he does enter the Royal Rumble and win, it could be a 100% guarantee that he will face his cousin Roman Reigns on the grandest stage of them all. Currently, Roman Reigns is the Universal Champion, and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is making blockbuster movies out in Hollywood. My Two Cents I would freaking LOVE it if The Rock returned to the ring. I miss the hell out of him. He is hilarious and I think a battle between him and Roman Reigns would be awesome! Readers: What do you think about a Roman vs Rock battle at WrestleMania 35? Who would win? Let me know in the comments below. ![]() This past Monday on Raw, Kevin Owens muttered two words that sent shockwaves throughout the WWE Universe: "I Quit." Social media erupted with mixed reaction, some were upset and some were elated. Now that the dust has settled, many have come up with theories as to what's next for the young superstar. The majority of the WWE Universe think Kevin Owens is fixing to be the next "Paul Heyman Guy." Since Brock Lesner is no longer Universal Champion, and is rumored to be leaving WWE (again), Paul Heyman may be looking to represent another talent. It would make sense for Kevin Owens to be that talent. If Kevin Owens were to team up with Paul Heyman, it could elevate his career. We all have noticed that Kevin Owens' career has taken a nosedive in the last year. As much of a snake as Paul Heyman is, he is a great manager. If you look at what he's done with Brock Lesner alone, Owens could definitely benefit from his services. There has been no word on whether this will be happening (why would anyone spoil a storyline this good anyways?). I hope the writers are throwing this idea around! I'd love to see it happen! WWE Universe: What do you think about Kevin Owens teaming up with Paul Heyman? Let me know on Twitter or in the comments below.

All hail King Bookah! After The New Day started off the show celebrating their fifth reign as SD Tag Team Champions, Booker T stepped out in his famous King Booker character.
The Toronto, Ontario, Canada audience came unglued. The royal Hall of Famer addressed The New Day and gave each of them royal names:
Just as King Booker began to welcome them to his realm, Big E protested his "uncool" name. Booker said that he "already had it with 'Big' in his name." Big E clapped back, saying he "just went full Saxton on me." Booker T became angry, saying "tell me you didn't just say that." Booker T continued the ceremony and welcomed the tag team into the 5-time wrestling championship club. He then ended his segment with "Can you dig it sucka," followed by his famous Spinaroonie. The New Day followed suit. It was definitely a segment you didn't want to miss. If you did miss it, you can catch the entirety of Smackdown Live on Hulu tomorrow. #CanYouDigItSucka???!! ![]()
