Franklin's illustrious career spanned nearly 70 years. She has been dubbed with such names as the 'Queen of Soul,' and 'The Greatest Singer of All-Time.' She was the first female performer to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Her most famous song, "Respect," has stood the test of time, and is a favorite for millions of people.

Respect is one of my favorite songs and I love blasting it while driving. It is perhaps the most woman-empowered song ever made.
Aretha, you are a goddess and you will be missed. Your music will continue to live on.
