Demi Lovato's fans claim Lovato donated $100K to froyo shop, along with an apology (lies).

Demi Lovato has been in scandal-after-scandal these past several years. If it isn't her drug and alcohol use, it's her relationships. Recently, her mouth has been the source of scandal. While I am all for strong and opinionated women, this Demi chick has hit a nerve in me. 
It all started out with Ms. Lovato acting like a total Karen and flipping her shit over a froyo's inclusion of various food lifestyles, such as: vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, sugar-free, and so on. Demi was triggered by the sugar-free options, and let her frustrations out. She put them on blast on social media, and called them names, such as "diet culture vultures." 
Demi's fanbase has decreased since this spectacle, and it's about to get even smaller. Apparently, the hardcore Demi fans floated around this idea that Lovato donated $100K, and issued a private apology. According to The Bigg Chill, the rumors are fabricated:

Now, where would Demi Lovato's hardcore fans get such a delusional idea? Are they privy to information that Lovato provides them? Did she arm her loyal soldiers with these ideas and tell them to run with it? 
This could backfire in catastrophic ways for Demi Lovato. Her fanbase could dwindle. She could go back to using in order to deal with her horrible mistake. She could find herself dancing with the devil once more. 

As for The Bigg Chill, I really feel bad for them. They got dragged by someone who has a large audience. This could have destroyed their business. Instead, people who have all the marbles together stood by them. One Instagram user pointed out that they drove by the froyo shop, and there was a line out the door. 
I privately messaged them and told them they have my support. As a Celiac, and as someone who has friends that are diabetic, vegan, vegetarian, etc, I am grateful that they have various food options. In a Covid world, I've seen a lot of places do away with options because it is too expensive to hold specialty items in stock. I'm so thankful for places that include people like myself and my friends.

Demi survived an overdose. One would think that a "brush with death" would smack some sense into a person. Not Demi. The chick isn't even completely sober! She is "California sober," which isn't a thing. It's just a pretty term used to cover up an excuse to use. 
Listen, I know how drug abuse and alcoholism works. I've watched family members struggle with both. I abused alcohol during very tough times in my life. In my case, I checked myself in to treatment, abstained from alcohol, and completed treatment. A few years later, I tried the whole "California sober" thing. It didn't work. While I have self-control, the fact that I opened up the possibility to have a drink was too triggering for me. 
Honestly, it doesn't work for anyone that does that Cali sober BS. Their is only one sobriety: completely abstaining from a substance for life. You find other ways to deal with your issues so you are not tempted. You surround yourself with people who will inspire you to do positive things. 

What Demi did to that froyo shop was inexcusable, and it was done with the mind of a user. 

Demi, please educate yourself and do better. As a public figure, you need to hold yourself in a better standard. You will ruin it for those of us who eat special diets because of autoimmune disease, diabetes, etc. This isn't a game for us. It's survival.
