![]() Ever go on Instagram to see what your friends, family, and your favorite celebrities are up to right now, only to be met with posts from a few days ago? It's annoying, am I right? Well Instagram has been keeping track of the issue, and will be making some changes to make your scrolling experience a positive one. Instagram released the following statement: "With these changes, your feed will feel more fresh, and you won’t miss the moments you care about. Based on your feedback, we’re also making changes to ensure that newer posts are more likely to appear first in feed. We're working every day to improve your Instagram feed—with your feedback top of mind! We want to start talking more about what we're changing and why. Today is our first step, focused on making the feed fresher, with newer posts closer to the top." Instagram also stated that if you want to see new posts, you will be able to push a "New Posts" button at the top of your newsfeed. In June 2016, Instagram made changes to the newsfeed, switching from a reverse chronological feed to a feed that is relevancy-sorted feed. This angered many Instagrammers. My Two Cents I'm pretty sure people will be a lot more inclined to use Instagram now that this algorithm will be fixed. A lot of people will want a reprieve from the political mess happening over at Facebook. Readers: What do you think about the changes? Will they make your Instagram experience a more pleasurable one?
