In the day and age of reboots, we have learned that no show is safe from the reboot machine, not even Saved By the Bell.
Mark-Paul Gosselaar, who played everyone's first crush Zack Morris, said that he is open to the idea of a 'Saved By the Bell' reboot....under one condition: "I’d like to see a version that was worth everyone’s time. There’s a lot of versions that we see that don’t do it justice. But I’d like to see a version, yeah, I’d like to see a version that we’d all agree on." 'Saved By the Bell' ran for 5 seasons, ending in 1993. Gosselaar said that if a reboot did come up, he has "no idea" where he wants the show to take off from. He added that he liked what 'Cobra Kai' did, but he doesn't know if it would work with a 'Saved By the Bell' reboot. My Two Cents I grew up watching the show every Saturday morning. I think it would be interesting to have a 'Saved' for the current generation. It would be pretty funny if the show came back with Zack Morris being the principal of Bayside High, Kelly Kapowski-Morris was the nurse, and their kids were students at the school. It could work, right? I mean, his kids could put him through the same shenanigans Zack put Mr. Belding through. Readers: What do you think of a SBTB reboot? Do you think it would work in this day and age? Who would you like to see come back? What should the premise be?
