PA Sheriff accuses Punxsutawney Phil of deception, wants him jailed.

Wanted: a weather forecasting groundhog who deceived the masses with his forecasting.

The Monroe County Sheriff's office in PA is issuing a warrant for the groundhog's arrest after a spring snowstorm brought snow to the Northeast this past Wednesday and Thursday. Back in February, the famed groundhog predicted 6 more weeks of winter. That forecast expired over a week ago, which prompted the warrant for Phil's arrest.

Groundhog Day forecasting has been in use since 1887, with Phil predicting 103 prolonged winters, and 18 early springs.

If you're in Monroe County, be on the lookout for Phil the groundhog. He has brown and grey hair, sharp teeth, and brown eyes.
