Hey Bachelor Nation! Last night, we watched Arie and the 3 remaining women jetset off to Peru. Emotions are at an all-time high, and you won't believe what went down. Let's recap what happened:
We meet the Bachelor in Ica Peru, where the desert meets the ocean. Definitely the perfect setting for love...and drama.
First Date: Kendall
Kendall discusses the anxiety she has before she meets Arie in the desert. She is feeling pressure to get to a place in her mind where she is ready for marriage. Arie tells Kendall that they will be riding a dune buggy through the desert. After a nearfall off a desert cliff, the couple use boards to surf the desert. They sit down and have a conversation.
That night, they go to a tiki hut and try local cuisine. They have a conversation about her readiness to get married. She discusses her previous relationships, and asks Arie about what he sees with her. He says he wants to get to know her on all levels, and that he thinks they are good for each other. She tells him that she's falling in love with him, he says he's falling for her too.
She is offered the fantasy suite card and she accepts. She is feeling more comfortable with Arie.
Second date: Lauren B.
Before the date, Lauren reveals that she is in love with Arie. They meet at an airport, and gear up for a day of seeing Nazca Lines. While Arie is snuggling up to Lauren B, he feels that she has a wall up. He says he has no problem reassuring her, but he wants her to open up more so she can enjoy the experience.
After seeing the Nazca Lines, she tells Arie that she does have some discomfort about the process. Arie assures her that he is crazy about her. She tells him that the stronger her feelings are for him, the harder it gets for her. She wants to be the only girl that he sees.
That night, they sit down for a romantic dinner. She admits to Arie that she is freaking out due to having trust issues. Arie tells her he is confident in her and he does love her.
Arie pulls out the fantasy suite card and she accepts.
Third date: Becca K.
Becca meets Arie by the water and he tells her that they will be going sailing.
They settle down on the boat and talk. She asks him if he has doubts and he says no. They talk about what would happen if it was the two of them at the end of this.
That night, they walk the desert to a romantic setting where they will be having dinner. Arie talks about his fears of being rejected. Becca admits that she was skeptical about the experience at first, but when she met him, she felt more at ease. She tells him that she loves him, and that she isn't afraid of her feelings. He tells her that he is in love with her.
Arie offers her the fantasy suite card and she accepts. They walk toward a tent and start their night. #Glamping
After the romantic dates, an ex of Becca's arrives to Peru and the 'ish goes down! Ross introduces himself to Arie. Ross sits down with Arie and tells him that he wants Becca back, he wants to marry her. Arie asks Ross that if she doesn't choose Ross that he should respect his relationship with Becca. Ross says "I don't know."
Ross leaves to find Becca and Arie is livid. Becca is shocked when she opens the door and sees him. Ross tells Becca he wants to marry her. She tells him she doesn't want to go back to her relationship with Ross. Ross wishes her the best and walks off.
Becca composes herself and goes to see Arie. They talk about Ross's arrival. Arie worries that he may have to deal with Ross in the future.
Later, Arie sits down with Chris Harrison and they discuss the events over the past week.
At the Rose Ceremony, Arie steals Kendall for a moment. Becca and Lauren are confused. Arie sits down with Kendall and says he doesn't know if they can get to that point where marriage is on the table. They hug and say goodbye. Arie returns to the Rose Ceremony, and offers roses to Becca and Lauren.
Arie tells Becca and Lauren that next week, they will be meeting Arie's family.
Next week, the finale will be live and emotions are at an all-time high. Arie reveals he loves both women, and what happens next week will shock even the most seasoned Bachelor fan.
