Have you ever seen a tweet containing an interesting article, but you do not have the time to read the article? Have you wished there was a way you can save it? Well folks, Twitter has heard your pleas.
Since last year, Twitter has been working on a feature that will allow users to privately "bookmark" tweets for later viewing. Twitter knows how fast news circulates on Twitter. Twitter wanted to make the experience easier, while also providing privacy. Before, the only way people could save interesting tweets is by retweeting them or 'favoriting' them. This has gotten some of the most high-profile people into deep water. Melania Trump once favorited a tweet that implied that she hated her husband, US President Donald Trump. The new feature is being made LIVE as of today. As someone who is on social media all the time, sharing articles and promoting my web writing business, I have been looking for the feature. As of right now, the feature is not LIVE on my end. Perhaps the feature will be active as of tomorrow. What to look for: Once the feature has gone LIVE, you will see an additional button on the bottom of evert tweet box (a share icon). Once you click on it, it will give you three options:
When you're ready to view your bookmarked tweets, you will go to your profile icon and look for menu options. The bookmark list can be found next to Moments and Twitter Lists. The bookmark feature will be LIVE on Twitter for iOS, Android, Twitter Lite, and mobile.twitter.com. source: techcrunch.com/2018/02/28/twitter-launches-bookmarks-a-private-way-to-save-tweets/
