![]() Amazon Alexa has been in the press quite a bit lately. Remember when Alexa was buggy and randomly laughed at you? Remember when Amazon Alexa would glow red out of nowhere? Amazon Alexa remembers and wants to make amends, by helping you remember important pieces of information and important dates. Last week at a conference in France, Amazon unveiled a new feature called "Remember This." The feature will allow users to store important dates, information, names, and more in the popular Amazon Assistant gadget. For example, if you want to remember someone's birthday, tell Alexa: "Alexa, remember (insert name here)'s birthday is (insert birthday here)." Alexa will respond with: "Okay, I will remember that (insert name here)'s birthday is (insert name here)." When you need to recall the birth date, simply say: "Alexa, when is (insert name here)'s birthday?" Alexa will respond with: "This is what you told me, (insert name here)'s birthday is (insert date here)." Alexa can also help you remember people's clothing sizes, upcoming trips, pet names, where you packed personal items, and your child's teacher's name. Also, if you cannot remember anniversary dates, tell Alexa the date and she will remember it for you (just make sure you ask for the date periodically so you don't miss your anniversary, LOL). The new feature rolled out to US users as of today. source: www.yahoo.com/finance/news/alexa-remember-birthdays-other-things-155430560.html
