As parents, we are obsessed with witnessing every milestone. We want to see our child's first smile, the first time they grab their cute little feet, and the first time they eat solid food, and more. The biggest milestone, however, that every parent wants to witness is baby's first time walking.
Last night, my (almost) 15 month old son walked for the first time. It was the biggest moment of my time as a parent and it was the second happiest moment of my life (his birth is the happiest). While I was disappointed (at the time) that I didn't get it on video (so I could show my loved ones), I'm glad that I could be in that moment with my son. He's going to walk again, and I will have plenty of opportunities to record him toddling along. Fellow parents, if you are waiting for your toddler to take his or her first steps, the feeling you get when you witness those first steps is amazing. I highly recommend that you don't try to record your tot's first walk, only because being in that moment is something you will remember forever. The moment is way too special. Readers: When did your toddler start walking? Let me know in the comments below.
