Another day, another Kardashian trying to cut the line in order to get to the top.
Kim Kardashian has decided to skip proper education in order to work an apprenticeship. She will use that to help her pass the bar exam.
Kardashan, 38, decided last summer to pursue this unlikely career. In an interview with Vogue, she said that she will begin an apprenticeship with a San Francisco law firm. Her goal is to take the bar in 2022.
It is important to note that she has not graduated college (she has no degree at all).
In most states, it would take a proper education to get an apprenticeship and to pass the bar. However, in California and 3 other states, people can pass the bar by "reading the law" (internships and apprenticeships). This is a rare method, and in 2014, only 60 out of 83,986 people passed the bar using this method.
My Two Cents
Kim Kardashian is insane. She can't possibly know everything about law during a 4 year apprenticeship. In order to be a successful lawyer, you need education. Passing the bar is very hard, and only a select few are able to do it.
If she wants to set a good example for young girls, and her kids, she needs to go to an actual college, get a degree, go to law school, get an internship, and study your butt off for the bar exam. Hard work and dedication is everything. Jumping the long line of hardworking lawyer hopefuls is an insult.
