The youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner brood has given birth to her first child, a girl.
The 20-year-old announced the birth on her Instagram on Sunday:
"I'm sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions. I understand you're used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. my pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself i needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way i know how. there was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal i had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness.
pregnancy has been the most beautiful, empowering, and life changing experience I've had in my entire life and I'm actually going to miss it. I appreciate my friends and especially my family for helping me make this special moment as private as we could. my beautiful and healthy baby girl arrived February 1st and i just couldn't wait to share this blessing. I've never felt love and happiness like this i could burst. Thank you for understanding."
A source close to the new mom has said that Kylie Jenner plans to live an even "quieter life," now that she is a mom.
My Two Cents
I have really misjudged this young lady. I remember reading stories that she kept to herself during her pregnancy because she didn't want to be photographed, due to pregnancy weight gain. I thought she was so vain and selfish for that reason.
Now, her reasoning behind keeping quiet makes so much sense. She's very young, and going through pregnancy is the scariest, hardest, and most exciting experience of your life. Emotions are at an all-time high, and any good mom will want to have her baby develop in a stress-free environment.
As a soon-to-be mom, I get it.
I want to send my sincere congratulations to Kylie Jenner on the arrival of her baby girl!
