If you have any of the following in your cupboard, you may want to take them off the shelves and discard them immediately. I will be sharing the UPC and expiration dates in a series of pictures below.
The recall is voluntary, as no one has come forward saying they've fallen ill. All of the above items contain whey powder as one of its ingredients. The supplier for the whey powder announced the recall because the powder may contain salmonella.
Mondelez Global LLC made the following statement regarding the recall:
"These products contain whey powder as an ingredient, which the whey powder supplier has recalled due to the potential presence of Salmonella. There have been no complaints of illness reported to Mondelēz Global to date in connection with these products. The company is conducting this recall as a precaution, based on the ingredient supplier’s recall. Consumers who have these products should not eat them, and should discard any products they may have."
Consumers who have questions are invited to call the company at 1-844-366-1171. Consumer Relation Specialists are available Monday-Friday from 9am-6pm EST.
