Attention 90s kids everywhere, Rugrats is coming back to TV! That's right, Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, Lil, and Angelica are returning to Nickelodeon. According to the folks at Nickelodeon, the show will still focus on the babies we all know and love. There will also be new characters being introduced (as of right now, there is no word on Reptar's return). 26 episodes are already set in stone, and that's not all: A live-action movie is in the works, and will be hitting theaters in November 2020.
Social media erupted in excitement over the show returning to the airwaves (yours truly was very excited). The live-action movie news was met with negative reactions, however. Many believed that the movie would ruin the reputation of the iconic children's show. There is no word on when the show will return. I will be following this story very closely. My Two Cents I am super excited that the show is returning. I do agree with those who dislike the idea of a live-action movie. I think it's ridiculous and a waste of production money. Just bring back the show, that's all!
