![]() There were a lot of highs and lows at last night's Superbowl. One of the highlights of the night occurred during Justin Timberlake's halftime performance. A 13-year-old middle-schooler got the thrill of a lifetime when Justin Timberlake went into the stands and performed right next to him. #SelfieKid, known as Ryan McKenna IRL, wasted no time in getting his phone out and documenting the evidence for his friends and family. Depending on who you ask, the young man seemed awkward, but prepared for the moment that changed his life, and simultaneously broke the internet. Within minutes, memes dedicated to #SelfieKid were made, and they practically flooded my social media timelines. Some assumed that the youngster was having iPhone issues, others assumed that he was Googling who Justin Timberlake was. McKenna was interviewed by Good Morning America, and he explained all of the confusion surrounding his phone situation: "So I had a video going, and my phone shut off. That’s why I was on my phone, and I love him. He’s like my favorite singer and I had to get the selfie with him." McKenna was able to get a photo with Timberlake before his phone died. He might just be the coolest 13-year-old in America this week! Way to go, kid! Here are a few of the memes that broke the internet:
