Today, I had an ultrasound with Maternal-Fetal. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that I would see my baby boy in 3D. When the sonographer started the scan, little man had his arms up so we weren't able to get a good look at his precious face. She did some measurements to pass the time, and then she tried again. When I saw his face, I fell in love. We only saw his face for a split second, then he put his arms up (I swear, this kid must have been playing hide and seek with us, LOL).
The rest of the appointment consisted of further scans. I found out that my son is measuring two days ahead of schedule, which means I will be entering my 28th week/third trimester tomorrow instead of Friday. His height and weight is right on target and everything else is looking normal. His little face is so beautiful and I can't wait to see it when he is born. In the meantime, I love feeling him kick and move around in my belly (he's an active little boy). Today I became more excited about becoming a mom. It's going to be the best thing I do with my life. The day he is born will be the greatest day of my life. Being a single mom is going to be tough, but I will do whatever it takes to give my son the life he deserves. Millions of women around the world are single mothers, and they are kicking butt at it. Our babies are worth the effort. Here are the pics of my son (In some of the pics, it looks like he's trying to perfect his "facepalm" for when he meets me, LOL!):
