It's no secret that Roseanne Barr has been having a rough time lately. She was fired off of her show "Roseanne" over a year ago, and people always have something to say about her.
Well, here's some more wood for the fire! On Sunday, Barr, 66, made a YouTube video (which has since been taken down), where she may have actually 'come out' as queer. The bulk of the video was her talking about her disdain for the word "f-g." Afterward, she took a long pause, and then said this: "Especially when it’s, like, one gay calling another gay guy that. Hooo, have you ever been in the middle of one of them hate marriages? It’s like, ‘Wait a minute, we’re not supposed to say that word. How come you’re saying that word?’ … But it is a hateful word and you should get rid of it. Get rid of it being spoken. All that LGBTQ stuff, I put the ‘Q’ in LGBTQ, OK? ‘Cause I am queer as two mother–kers. I’m queer. I’m alien. I don’t belong here with all these people. They make no sense. They are very queer. And that makes me … a queer, I guess?" This has led people to wonder if she 'came out' as queer, or if she was using the word in a different fashion (for all you youngins, in the past, people used the word "queer" to describe something peculiar). My Two Cents If Roseanne is, in fact, trying to 'come out,' I encourage her to live her truth. If she is using the word to describe herself as "peculiar," she needs to clarify that for the younger generations.
