He may have been in a boy band, but Harry Styles knows how to throw down when need be.
Harry Styles was recently trolled by right-winger Candace Owens, for wearing a floor-length Gucci gown with a tuxedo jacket. Owens was so taken aback by the photo, that she clutched her pearls and hopped on Twitter to voice her opinion. As she did so, she doused herself with holy water and spoke in tongues. She may have turned into a gremlin while doing all of this, I don't know. There are conflicting reports on this. She basically told the masses on Twitter that Styles was indicative of the "steady feminization of our men." She then added the famous line "bring back manly man."
In Harry Styles' Vogue story (btw, he was the first male to grace the cover of Vogue), he talked about gender expression and gender fluidity:
"When you take away âThereâs clothes for men and thereâs clothes for women,â once you remove any barriers, obviously you open up the arena in which you can play. Thereâs so much joy to be had in playing with clothes. Iâve never really thought too much about what it means â it just becomes this extended part of creating something." Styles' famous and not-so-famous friends came out to play, in support of Harry Styles. On Wednesday, Harry Styles decided to clap back at Owens' statement with:
âOf course Candace Owens responded, with:
Candace, darling, take several seats. The only thing you are influencing is your own downward spiral. As soon as you remove that 'Donald Trump anal plug' that is all up in your brown eye, you will see a world that is completely fluid and accepting.
âIt's pretty nice!
