Lisa Turtle, the quick-witted fashionista and 1st love of Screech Powers, is coming back! Entertainment Weekly was first to report that Lark Voorhies will be on the reboot's freshman season. EW also provided a "first look" into what Lisa Turtle is up to now.
Lisa Turtle turned her childhood dreams into a reality. She now has a successful career in the fashion industry.
Initially, Lark Voorhies was not invited to join the reboot. Voorhies believed the "slight" was due to her mental health battle with Schizoaffective Disorder.
She will be joining her life-long friends at Bayside High, and showing the next generation that friends are forever!
There is no word on how many episodes she will be in, and where she will pop up. You will have to just wait and see.
As of right now Dustin Diamond has not signed on to the reboot, which I'm happy about. He turned into a nasty string bean after New Class ended.
As a young teenager, I watched the original show every Saturday morning. I never missed an episode, TV movie, and I never missed spinoff episodes.
I've seen the reboot trailer and it makes me feel old and proud at the same time. I am so happy that a show I loved growing up will be enjoyed by the next generation. The main stars will be on the show, and it will showcase familiar antics with a younger millennial/Gen Z edge.
The reboot will drop on November 25, only on Peacock TV! Watch the official trailer below:
If you follow Britney Spears on social media, you've probably noticed her rather alarming pictures and videos. If she isn't dancing/twirling at a fast pace, she is modeling clothes (walking in and out of camera shot), and experimenting with different filters. Fans and friends have been deeply concerned about her well-being for quite some time now. Many believe she is being held captive by those who are in charge of her conservatorship. Some think her boyfriend might be involved in her captivity. Regardless of who is involved, Britney is certainly not herself.
The last time Britney Spears has posted on social media was 9 days ago. This has caused fans to worry more than they ever have. Britney's long-time boyfriend Sam hasn't posted anything about her since their beach day in July or August. I did some searching on her profile, and I've noticed that her pics are reruns of pics she posted earlier this year.
In her videos, her voice is very childlike and fast. A few of her pics don't even look like her (there is one photo of her and Sam on the beach, and the girl in the pics doesn't look like her. The only thing that resembles Britney is the hair).
She hasn't posted pics of her boys since summer of 2019. In fact, the last time she posted normal pictures and videos was 2019. Her pics from last year were more lively, and she looked like herself.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Britney has been missing for more than just 9 days.
What do you think has happened to Britney Spears? Let me know in the comments below!

Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker to reprise their "Hocus Pocus" characters for 1 night only!
ââOh, look! Another glorious morning...MAKES ME SICK!â
Yes! The Sanderson sisters will be summoned for one night only! Bette Midler called Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy to channel their inner Mary and Sarah, and join her for her annual fundraiser this Halloween, called "Hulaween." "Hulaween" will benefit Midler's nonprofit, the New York Restoration Project, which restores gardens in NY's 5 boroughs.
The Sanderson sisters reunion will be virtual due to the pandemic.
Bette Midler clearly put a spell on all of her followers when she shared behind-the-scene pics of the event. Social media went into a frenzy, with many wondering if we will see a sequel.
âWhile there are "talks," nothing is set in stone.
I have to admit something embarrassing: I was 11 when "Hocus Pocus" came out. This movie gave me nightmares about dead people for 6 months. I'm totally serious. I did not have a full night's sleep for 6 months. I would wake up screaming my head off every night.
Now that I'm an adult, I can watch the movie with no problem. I think it's an incredible movie, and I definitely jumped up and down in excitement when I saw Bette Midler's Instagram post.
I think the cast should get together and do an virtual table read. That is exactly what 2020 needs right now! Someone make it happen!
Dust off your dancing shoes, go to your nearest bar, and don't ask for water cuz you might get sprayed: Coyote Ugly is 'in talks' for a sequel! Tyra Banks told Kelly Clarkson on Wednesday that there are talks to bring back Coyote Ugly as a film sequel, or a TV series.
Banks, who is currently hosting 'Dancing With the Stars,' told Clarkson that there was supposed to be a conference call to discuss the film, but it got delayed due to Banks' appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
The original movie came out in 2000, and starred Tyra Banks, Piper Perabo, Maria Bello, Izabella Miko, and Bridget Moynahan.
I remember seeing this movie in the theater when it came out. I absolutely loved the story, and I loved the music! If they decide to remake it, they better have the original cast members on board. Sequels tend to suck without the original cast.
By the way, going to a Coyote Ugly bar has been on my bucket list for 20 years LOL!
Whoa baby! Meghan Trainor dropped some seriously amazing news while visiting TODAY with Hoda and Jenna.
The songstress and husband Daryl Sabara are expecting their first child together!
"We were thinking about who do I tell first, and I was like, I told Hoda since I was 19 going to the TODAY show (that) I will have the most babies in the world. I want to get it all done at one time and be like, pop them in there. You know what I'm saying? Let's knock it out. Let's do it at once. You and me. I want twins or triplets."
Trainor, 26, told E! last October that she has always wanted a big family. She told them she dreamed about having triplets (babygirl, squeezing out one is painful enough...even with an epidural!).
Mama-to-be Meghan did not reveal the sex of her baby to Jenna and Hoda, but she did tell them she's halfway through the pregnancy!
Welcome to mommyhood, Meghan! It's a total blast!
Guys, if you can't make it to her baby shower, buy her Christmas CD! "A Very Trainor Christmas" drops October 30. I heard snippets of her new music and it's fucking amazing!
See her social media announcement below:
2020 has taken another legend from us. Rocker Eddie Van Halen has died from throat cancer. He was 65. His son, Wolfgang Van Halen, shared the devastating news on social media Tuesday afternoon.
TMZ reported that Eddie Van Halen's condition had worsened over the last 72 hours. The cancer had spread to his brain and various other organs.
Van Halen was surrounded by Wolfgang, his wife Janine, his brother/bandmate Alex Van Halen.
I have been a life-long fan of Van Halen. My dad raised me on all the greats, including Van Halen.
Fuck 2020. Another famous person's death that stings like a motherfucker. Jesus.
Sending my condolences to Eddie Van Halen's family, including he and ex wife Valerie Bertinelli's son Wolfgang. RIP Eddie! You will be missed, and you will never be forgotten.
I can't fucking deal, guys. 2020 is the shittiest year.
The GLOW of Netflix has been extinguished permanently, according to Netflix.
The fourth and final season of GLOW was supposed to begin production in Mid-March, but was postponed. Due to the size of the cast, and the intimate surroundings, Netflix made the heartbreaking decision to cancel.
"We’ve made the difficult decision not to do a fourth season of GLOW due to COVID, which makes shooting this physically intimate show with its large ensemble cast especially challenging. We are so grateful to creators Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch, Jenji Kohan and all the writers, cast and crew for sharing this story about the incredible women of GLOW with us and the world."
A spokesperson for Netflix went on to say that more focus needs to be put on battling coronavirus.
Before canceling, production of the show was postponed until 2021. If they had followed those plans, season 4 would have premiered in 2022. The entire cast of GLOW has been paid for season 4. Sadly, we will not get any closure to the storylines.
GLOW, or Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, follows a group of female wrestlers as they shatter the glass ceiling in the 1980s. Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling is actually not a fictitious group. In the 1980s, GLOW made a name for themselves in a male-dominated field. WWE's own Ivory was a member of GLOW.
As a 20+ year fan of wrestling, I am deeply saddened by the show canceling early. I understand their standpoint, and I would have probably made the same decision if I were in their shoes. As a fan, it sucks to not have closure. I was looking forward to season 4.
I would like to thank the cast and crew of GLOW for showcasing a pivotal moment in wrestling HERstory.
Get ready for a brand new generation of weirdos! "The Craft: Legacy" is set after the events of the original movie, where we followed 4 teen witches into their magickal madness.
This new 'Craft' movie has some big shoes to fill, and from the looks of the trailer, they are ready to channel Manon.
This new movie has a new coven forming, and their new addition to the circle causes their magickal world to spiral downward.
The movie has several references to the original movie, with a pic of Nancy Downs being one of the biggest throwbacks to the original. From what I've read about the remake, there may be footage of Balk's iconic character Nancy Downs in the new movie. Additionally, we will see a 'Light As A Feather' scene, and the new addition of the coven saying the iconic line: "We are the weirdos, mister!"
Looking at the trailer, the movie will also have combined elements of Charmed and Sabrina the Teenage Witch (there are a lot of glitter and cutesy effects).
'Legacy' stars Cailee Spaeny, Gideoin Adlon (Pamela Adlon's daughter-Pamela Adlon was in Grease 2), Lovie Simone, Zoey Luna, Michelle Monaghan, David Duchovny, and Nicholas Galitzine.
None of the OGs are in the new movie, except for the Nancy Downs excerpts from the 1996 movie.
"The Craft: Legacy" will be released On Demand on October 28.
I have mixed feelings about this remake. When a remake is made without the OGs, it usually sucks beyond words.
I was a teenager when the original movie came out (I was 14). I wasn't old enough to see it in the theater, but I did buy the VHS after it was released to video.
I love the movie and I love the music.
Will I watch the remake? Yes. I want to give the movie a fair chance. If it sucks, I will bind the movie from doing harm against other people, and harm against the original.
Ahead of the season 3 premiere, Netflix has renewed 'Cobra Kai' for a 4th season. The show became an instant hit after moving from YouTube to Netflix this year. Shortly after arriving on Netflix, the show found its way into the Nielsen's weekly top 10 streaming ratings, ranking at #2 during the week of August 24. 'Cobra Kai' was trending for several days on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and more.
'Cobra Kai' picks up 34 years after the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, where Daniel LaRusso kicked Johnny Lawrence's cocky ass (taking his dream girl was an added bonus).
The rivalry reignites when Johnny and Daniel come face-to-face 30+ years later.
If you haven't seen the show because you're skeptical of sequels, don't be. The writers, producers, directors, and actors did a flawless job bringing this story and the characters back to life.
I did cry when Daniel visited Mr. Miyagi's grave, and I cried when Johnny Lawrence's friend died (I believe the actor that played the friend died sometime after filming). If you are wondering if John Kreese makes an appearance, indeed he does! You won't see him until the last episode of season one. He becomes involved in a decent storyline in season two.
As the show goes on, we do see a lot more of a human side to Johnny Lawrence. We learn a lot about his early days, and how it molded him into the bully he was back in the Karate Kid movies.
I could wax on (and wax off) all day about 'Cobra Kai.' It's best that you watch it for yourself.
Catch the first two seasons of 'Cobra Kai' on Netflix. Season 3 drops on January 8, 2021!
Pat Morita would have LOVED this show.
Actor and harmless human Rick Moranis was punched by a stranger in a random and unprovoked attack in New York City Thursday morning. The attack occurred on the Upper West Side. A man, wearing an "I Love New York" sweatshirt, assaulted Moranis, 67, knocking him to the ground. The asshole walked away and is still 'at large.'
Moranis went to a nearby hospital for pain in his back, head, and right hip. After being treated, he went to the 20th Precinct and reported what occurred. He told police that his attacker hit him with a closed fist. Police got hold of surveillance video, showing the attack. The video made its way around the internet.
Police are asking for the public's help in locating the piece of shit. If you see the piece of shit, call 1-800-577-TIPS.
Rick Moranis' spokesperson said that he is 'fine.'
It's baffling and disgusting that a person would randomly attack another person, let alone someone as incredible as Rick Moranis. Aside from being a respected actor, he is a humble family man. After his wife died, he left acting behind in order to raise his children. His children were more important than his job. You don't see famous people doing something like that. Rick Moranis is a class act, and I am hoping to fucking God that the douche that attacked him is arrested and dragged in gen pop.
