 If you're just waking up, you've probably noticed that Sir Elton John is trending on Twitter. In 2020, if a celebrity is trending on social media, people automatically assume the worst.
Fear not, my fellow Elton John fans. Elton John is alive and well. The only reason why he is trending is because he has been "dethroned" in the music world. Kylie Minogue just scored her 8th number one album on the UK charts, surpassing Cliff Richard, Elton John, and George Michael. Minogue is the first female solo artist to have number one albums on the UK charts in 5 consecutive decades. Congrats to Kylie Minogue!
