Kelly Clarkson has been one of America's sweethearts for nearly 20 years. She was the first person to win American Idol, and she has spawned hit record after hit record. The fame didn't come without its bumps in the road. Clarkson talked about her American Idol days on her talk show Friday, and she mentioned that people were not nice to her back then. She reminisced with her guest that day, Jennifer Love Hewitt: "People were really mean to us because we're from a talent show and it was the first season. Like, everyone was so rude to us, like, on the carpet. ...It was so bad. It was a horrible experience."
Hewitt herself knows a thing or two about being on a singing show. Hewitt got her start on Disney Channel's "Kid's Incorporated." I remember watching JLH on that show, as well as Stacy Ferguson.
"Kid's Incorporated...K.I.D.S..." I remember back in the day when people called "Kid's Incorporated" a Mickey Mouse Club knock-off. That "knock-off" launched Jennifer Love Hewitt's career, as well as Stacy "Fergie-Ferg" Ferguson's career.
JLH's advice is golden, because she's been there. I'm glad Kelly Clarkson received that advice.
