'Saved by the Bell' star Dustin Diamond diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.

'Saved by the Bell' star Dustin Diamond is currently hospitalized, receiving treatment for stage 4 cancer. The actor's rep told the media that his condition is "serious," and that he will be in the hospital "for awhile."
"He's undergoing chemo so he will be there at least another week and then we will figure out when he gets to come home. By next week, we'll have a much better understanding of the severity of his condition and what treatments he will need so that he's comfortable."

His rep also told the media that he was "fading in and out, feeling sleepy and tired" when he was admitted to the hospital. Not only did he have a large mass on his throat, he was also diagnosed with Shingles. 

It is being reported that Diamond was 'in talks' to appear on the reboot for 'Saved by the Bell (second season).' Season one of the reboot did mention Screech, saying that he was living on the International Space Station with his robot Kevin.

Regardless of the fact that he was in some shit throughout his life, he is a TV legend. He played Screech Powers from 1989-2000. Screech was the friend we all wish we had. He was brainy, quirky, and loyal to a fault. 
I don't agree with most things Diamond has done in his personal life. However, I respect everything he did on 'Saved by the Bell.'
While I don't know what it's like to have cancer, I know what it's like to have Shingles. That shit is PAINFUL! I had it on my face about 12-13 years ago and it was horrible! It even got into my eye and I lost vision. 

My heart goes out to Dustin Diamond. Fight like hell, sir!
