Whoopi Goldberg is returning for "Sister Act 3," with Tyler Perry producing.

Not only is Whoopi Goldberg set to werk her nun's habit for a 3rd time, Tyler Perry is also getting involved, as one of the producers! 
Disney Studios made the announcement as part of Disney Investor Day.

​Both Goldberg and Perry have officially signed onto the project. Not much has been revealed about the movie, but it's no secret that Goldberg has been wanting a 3rd movie for years. She was asked about the possibility of a 3rd movie back in October, and she said that she felt like there may be a 3rd movie. She has also been very vocal about getting the OG's of the first two movies to sign on for a 3rd movie. 

While the first two movies premiered on the big screen, the 3rd will be premiering exclusively on Disney+.
