Why Justin Timberlake's apology to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson is complete BS (and slightly misogynistic).

On Friday, Justin Timberlake issued an apology to both Britney Spears and Janet Jackson for how he treated both women back in the 2000s.

Unfortunately for Timberlake, his apology was not well-received by Britney and Janet fans. He was destroyed on all facets of social media. 

What did Justin expect anyway? Did he expect that his apology would make everything right? No! It didn't make anything right. It is just another exercise in male privilege. On top of that, he was pressured by fans and the media into apologizing. He pretty much laid it out in the first sentence of his lame apology. 
A person who is truly sorry for their actions wouldn't have waited until people stormed their social media. Hell, a truly remorseful person wouldn't have waited 20 years to apologize for his blatant misogyny. He also wouldn't have waited 16 years to apologize for exposing a female's breast for millions to see! 
A true man would have NEVER acted in the way that Justin has. He can blame it all on being "young and dumb," but his age has nothing to do with his ability to know right from wrong. My two-year-old has a better concept of right from wrong! 

What Justin did in the 2000s was unforgivable. He almost successfully tarnished Britney's reputation by talking about the intimate part of their relationship. He bragged on national TV about sleeping with Britney Spears, and he was praised. Meanwhile, Britney was slut-shamed across the globe.

​Britney was already being body-shamed and slut-shamed BEFORE Justin fucked everything up. Justin Timberlake added fuel to the fire, and I think that really messed Britney up. Justin didn't care, as long as he was selling his solo LPs. He used her, made money off her back, and he received all the glory. He painted an innocent woman as a whore so he could make his millions. He is despicable. 
With Janet Jackson, he orchestrated this humiliating moment. I was watching the Super Bowl that day because my college roommate was doing a project involving the halftime show. I remember being so taken aback by what I saw, I had my roommate go back so we could see it again. I saw the humiliation in Janet's eyes. When it comes to Justin, his expression was so fake. He wasn't shocked. He knew what he was doing. 

This shitty apology is nothing more than a publicity stunt, designed to keep him at the top of his game. I hope Britney and Janet do not fall for his BS. 

Justin Timberlake is a privileged misogynist, and he gets off on ruining female reputations so he can get to the top. I stopped being a fan of his after Britney and Justin ended. It was that interview where he bragged about sleeping with her. It was so repulsive and evil. I will never believe anything he says. He's just gross. 

He will do the same thing to Jessica Biel, just wait. He will have some big project coming up, and he will need the publicity.
