WWE legend Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, and his entire family, have tested positive for the coronavirus. Johnson shared the news himself on his Instagram profile.
In the video posted Wednesday, Dwayne Johnson mentioned that he, his wife Laura, and their two baby girls all tested positive. He mentioned they had been battling the virus for the last 2 and a half weeks. The good news is, they are on the other side of the virus and are no longer contagious.
Johnson goes on to discuss how we all need to protect ourselves against this aggressive and unrelenting virus.
The former wrestler captioned his video with the following:
"My message to all of you around the ð
Boost your immune system.
Commit to wellness.
Wear your mask.
Protect your family.
Be strict about having people over your house or gatherings.
And care for your fellow human beings.
Stay healthy, my friends.
Folks, there is not one person on this earth that likes to wear masks, wear gloves, wash their hands 100 times a day, and douse their hands in hand sanitizer. There is not one person on earth that likes to socially distance from the people they love. It is in our human nature to hug and kiss and have fun with our friends. Life today is completely opposite of what we have learned throughout our lives. However, the only way we can get back to some type of normalcy is if we abide by the rules for a little while longer. Let the experts find a vaccine and a cure, and then we can get back to what is natural for us.
Please take Dwayne Johnson's advice to heart. He is one of the most respected and beloved entertainers on the planet. If Dwayne Johnson says we need to be woke and we need to protect ourselves from this bitch of a virus, you need to fucking listen.
I'm glad Dwayne and his family are on the mend. Continue fighting the good fight, sir! You are The Great One! You will always be The People's Champion!
