On March 6, 2020, 'Big Poppa Pump' Scott Steiner was rushed to a hospital after collapsing backstage at an event for Impact Wrestling. He was doing a pre-taped interview when he collapsed. At first, reports called his collapse a "life or death situation," as he reportedly stopped breathing and needed his heart shook.
Thankfully, Scott Steiner is 'on the mend' and expected to make a full recovery.
EVP of Impact Wrestling, Scott D'Amore, released a statement on social media, saying:
"For all concerned parties @ScottSteiner is OK. His family is grateful for everybody's concern and support."
Wrestling legend Tommy Dreamer visited Steiner in the hospital, along with Scott D'Amore and Joey Ryan. Dreamer asked for Steiner's fans to pray for his recovery.
Unfiltered Perspectives wishes Steiner a speedy recovery.
