Girl Scouts tweets support over Amy Coney Barrett's nomination, and now I'm boycotting them.10/30/2020 ![]()
In a now-deleted tweet, Girls Scouts praised the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett, saying: "Congratulations Amy Coney Barrett on becoming the 5th woman appointed to the Supreme Court since its inception in 1789." They shared an image of Barrett and the 4 female justices that came before her: Sandra Day O'Connor, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Sonia Sotomayor, and Elena Kagan.
The Girl Scouts Twitter page was quickly slammed with messages and tweets of disgust.
Within hours of receiving backlash, Girl Scouts issued a statement on their Twitter profile.
The statement was met with more criticism:
Girl Scouts are no stranger to political controversy. Back in 2017, they organized plans to participate in the Inauguration of President Donald Trump.
They may say that they have no political ties. However, they certainly are showing some serious pro-conservative vibes, especially with their praise for Amy Coney Barrett. I had been a huge fan of Girl Scout cookies for most of my life (I think all of us are fans of the cookies). After seeing their tweet of support, and their bullshit apology, I am BOYCOTTING Girl Scouts and telling everyone I know to boycott them. They don't care about the futures of the girls in their program. With Amy Coney Barrett as SCOTUS, women's rights will be diminished. This is what Girl Scouts of America is instilling in these little girls. They aren't teaching them to change the world. They are teaching them to be handmaidens. At the point, I won't even accept an apology. BOYCOTT all things Girl Scouts! Oh, and if anyone knows any recipes for their thin mints, tagalongs, peanut butter cookies, and caramel cookies, let me know in the comments below. Unlike the Girl Scouts of America, I know my cookies won't be made with hypocrisy and patriarchy.

The United States of America used to be the country that everyone wanted to visit. We were the land of hope and opportunity. All of that changed in 2016.
We switched from a government that was about tolerance and equality, to a radically conservative cabinet. At the helm is a man who jokes about grabbing women by the pussy. This same man has been trying to appeal to "suburban women" and promise that their husbands will return to work. Additionally, this president berates any woman who challenges his radical thoughts. We saw this with VP nominee Kamala Harris. Trump didn't respect her enough to say her name correctly. He called her a "monster," and he questioned if she was an American citizen (she is a Cali girl, born and bred. More than that, she is a fucking American! Have some respect!). Trump also likes to disparage NY Rep Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez. He brings her up at nearly every rally, in every tweet, and in every interview (including the presidential debates, when he referred to her as AOC+3). Trump's disdain for Ocasio-Cortez has inspired other ring-wing radicals to go for the jugular. Ted Yoho, a Republican rep from Florida, referred to her as "disgusting, crazy, dangerous, and a fucking bitch." We also watched the kidnapping attempt of Governor Whitmer of Michigan. Donald Trump did nothing to help the Governor. All he did was berate and mock her in public. Recently, I wrote about how over 90% of people on this PLANET have a bias against women. Among the 90% of haters, we had 28% who think it's justified that a man HITS a woman. Here in America, Trump has made it socially acceptable for men to engage in abuse and misogyny. Young boys are seeing Trump behave in this way, and now they are following his example. Young girls are now following the examples of Ivanka Trump, Tiffany Trump, Melania Trump, and now Amy Coney Barrett. People think it's acceptable to put women back in second, third, fourth, fifth place. We had women who fought and died so we wouldn't resort back to this bullshit! The problem we face is, we don't have many women in Congress. Women are still fighting for parity. We hold 25% of the Senate seats, and 23% of the House seats. 51% of the US population is female! How can we hold so little seats in our own government? Trump is the problem. Trump's behavior and attitude toward women is the problem. Look at Amy Coney Barrett. He handpicked a "handmaiden" to hold the highest seat, only because she is subservient. She will rule how he wants her to rule. It is ingrained in her to submit to men. She wasn't raised to have a single free thought in her mind. She was brought up by domineering Christian parents, and she doesn't know any better. Folks, here's my point: Our kids are learning from Trump, and the rest of the administration, that it's okay to be vicious and abusive. Boys are learning it is acceptable to be domineering, and girls are learning that they need to be subservient. These are behaviors that boys and girls will bring into adulthood. There will be more domestic abuse and more death. I was a kid who grew up in an abusive home (from ages 3 to 7. I was heavily abused, as was my birth mother). The behavior I've seen from Trump and many others is very triggering.
I wanted to share the above gap to show you where America is, in terms of domestic abuse and unwanted advances. We have the 3rd HIGHEST percentage of violence toward women.
During a time where we all need to work together, life in the US has become a race war, sex war, cultural war, and religious war. It's a civil war. Trump is fighting the wrong wars. We need to fight coronavirus. We all need to come together (our entire world) and battle TF out of this virus. Fighting each other will only cause more death. I am praying fervently (and I'm not even religious) that we are blessed with a new administration. Trump needs to go. As I have been saying for months now, we won't survive another 4 years of Trump, especially those of us who are female, a person of color, and those who are LGBTQIA+. The abuse needs to end NOW! We need to be the true UNITED States of America. ![]()
In a phallocentric world, there are two types of women: those who submit to men, and those who fight the patriarchy. It is estimated that over 90% of people in the world have a prejudice against women, especially women of color, LGBT women, and women in power. This is a problem, and one woman has an idea on how to end patriarchy: erase men from our lives.
French feminist Alice Coffin mentioned in her book, "Lesbian Genius," that she no longer reads books written by men. She doesn't watch movies that are written, produced, and directed by men. Additionally, she does not listen to music created by men. Coffin theorizes that we need to eliminate men from our minds. Critics have accused her of advocating a different form of apartheid. As radical as her theories are, she has a point. Women in TV, literature, movies, music, art, etc, don't receive as much exposure as men do. In entertainment, women are the co-star to the male hero. Music is mostly about the girl getting the guy, or the guy getting the girl. Art is mostly the perversion of the female form. Even in pornography, men force a woman to put all of his dick in her mouth, nearly choking her to death. It's all about blunt force when it comes to anything produced, directed, and written by men. However, when women try to match up, we get called radical and crazy. In this male-dominated world, women need to fight harder.
With current events in the United States, we need to bring back 2nd wave radical feminism. Dworkin and Firestone drove that wave of feminism, as well as Marilyn French and Gloria Steinem.
If you aren't a 100% white, rich, heterosexual, Christian male, your rights are about to be taken away. With the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett, your healthcare, racial justice, LGBT rights (including marriage), women's rights, reproductive rights, and various protections will soon be overturned. One way we can protest ALL of this, is to stop giving money to male dominated movies, TV shows, sports events, music, books, artwork, and more. Let's refuse to get married! Personally, I am refusing to get married until each and every one of the rights that I mentioned above are protected. Secondly, I will refuse to get married until women have achieved equality. I'll go one step further, I won't even get into a relationship unless that person is a feminist. Going forward, I will only support female and male feminists. I refuse to give my time, money, and energy to a patriarchal clusterfuck, otherwise known as planet Earth. It's no wonder that Earth is shaped like a ball. There's a bunch of dicks running around on it. Alice Coffin, tu es incroyable et je te soutiens à 100%! Sending love from America! Why we need Feminism: 90% of all people have a "deep ingrained bias" toward women (source: The UN).10/19/2020 ![]()
The year is 2020, and the world continues its deeply ingrained bias towards women.
Sure, we have come a long way in the last 120 years, but we still have not fixed inner bias. If we have been taught anything this year with the pandemic: humans hate change. Same goes with educating the ignorant masses about women's HERstory. No one wants to hear it. People want to stay in their cocoon of hateful bliss until the big guy (or girl) calls them Home. Sadly, this just makes the problem more profound. The United Nations conducted research to see how bad the problem has become. The UNDP Gender Social Norms Index looked at data from 75 countries (or 80% of the global population), and found some clues to the invisible barriers that have kept women down:
When it comes to global politics:
Take a long, hard look ladies and gentlemen. How do you really feel about women? Do you think women should live up to their stereotype and be housewives? Do you feel that a female superior is worse than a male superior? Who do you trust your life with? A male president or a female president? What is your bias toward women? I know you have some. As soon as you can admit it to yourself, you can become a part of the solution. We can continue our work to close the gap between men and women. We need feminism now more than ever. You might be reading this, thinking: "Yeah right. Fake news." Denying the statistics, and denying everything that is happening in the world is YOUR bias toward women. #feminism #feminist #womensrights #humanrights #HERstory #womenshistory ![]()
Today, handmaiden Amy Coney Barrett will be going before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Today is day 1 of a 4-day process, and the process is expected to be heated.
Barrett was nominated by Trump last month (shortly after Ruth Bader Ginsburg died. Apparently, Trump called Barrett personally, hours after RBG died, and told her that he is nominating her as RBG's successor), during a super-spreader coronavirus event. Barrett is promising the committee, and the voters, that she will be an impartial Supreme Court Justice. In her opening remarks to the committee, she is planning on thanking Trump for the nomination. She is also expected to talk about how family prepared her for a "life of service, principle, faith, and love" (that doesn't sound impartial AT ALL). She is also expected to talk about how much she loves Antonin Scalia's policies, and how she "resolves to maintain that same perspective" as Scalia. In a leaked draft of her opening statement, she says: "In every case, I have carefully considered the arguments presented by the parties, discussed the issues with my colleagues on the court, and done my utmost to reach the result required by the law, whatever my own preferences might be. When I write an opinion resolving a case, I read every word from the perspective of the losing party. I ask myself how would I view the decision if one of my children was the party I was ruling against." Not only is she reaching to appeal to parents by mentioning her children, she is telling on herself. She doesn't plan on being an impartial Supreme Court Justice. She plans on ruling by her own handmaiden rhetoric. By saying that she would view the decision if one of her children were the party she was ruling against, if her child was someone who beat up a member, or members of the LGBT community, her child would get off. They wouldn't be punished. Why? Because she is against the LGBT community. When it comes to Roe V Wade, it is widely known that she plans on overturning the ruling that provided women safe and legal abortion options. I'm pretty sure she will also work on defunding Planned Parenthood, which provides MORE THAN just abortions. They also provide quality reproductive care to low-income women who do not have insurance. This includes STD/AIDs testing, pregnancy screenings, yearly check ups, and more. How do I know this? I used to be a patient at Planned Parenthood. When I couldn't get an OBGYN, I went to Planned Parenthood and paid for my checkups on a sliding scale.
As for her religion, Barrett belongs to a Christian-Catholic cult called "People of Praise." The members of this cult "swear a lifelong oath of loyalty, called a covenant, to one another, and are assigned and are accountable to a personal adviser, called a ‘head’ for men and a ‘handmaid’ (now woman leader) for women."
These women are reduced down to slaves of men, as men are seen as the "authority of the household." Amy Coney Barrett's family has very deep ties to this cult, and Amy Coney Barrett's father is a deacon in this cult. The cult also believes in arraigned marriage. Barrett is a dangerous choice for Supreme Court Justice. Women have made some great strides in women's rights and feminism. If she is appointed as Supreme Court Justice, women's rights will go backward about 70+ years. We deserve better than this. ![]()
"Mr. Vice President, she's speaking." -Susan Page
Patriarchy was 'alive and well' during last night's debate. Mike Pence found himself on a stage with 2 women: Moderator Susan Page, and Senator Kamala Harris. While both parties agreed to be respectful during the debate, Mike Pence just couldn't help himself for displaying his patriarchal values. He repeatedly spoke over Susan Page, when she announced his time was up. He also repeatedly interrupted Senator Harris as she spoke. It got to a point where she had enough of Pence interrupting her. "He interrupted me. I would like to finish." Guys, I was cheering so loudly for my girl! As for Susan Page, she definitely attempted to stand her ground against Pence's blatant misogyny, but I don't think she was completely prepared for how vile Pence can be. Senator Harris was prepared. I know some of you (males) will respond with: "Kamala Harris was disruptive too." Did she interject a few times? Yes. However, she had lost some time to speak because Mike Pence constantly went over his time. It's a bit annoying to debate someone who won't respect the time the Presidential Debate Committee allotted for each candidate. Pence was more disruptive and disrespectful of time than Harris was. Pence isn't used to being around strong women in power, especially if one of the strong women is a woman of color. Folks, you have to remember that Trump and Pence's level of conservative does not believe in women having a voice. They believe women should be told what to think, say, do, etc. It's even worse when you're a woman of color. How many times has the Trump campaign mocked Kamala's name and questioned her birth certificate? They only question the birthplace of an opponent if they are a person of color. This happened to Barack Obama when he was running! Republicans trashed him and claimed he was born in Kenya. Why did they come up with Kenya? Because he's African-American! Barack Obama was born in Hawaii. Case closed! Kamala Harris is a 'born and bred' true blue California gal. Case closed! Kamala Harris is a strong woman. She can handle opposition. She will chew them up and spit them out. She wasn't rattled by Mike Pence's misogyny. She expected it, and he delivered. Despite the misogyny, she behaved while he had his uninterrupted minutes. She listened and let her facial expressions do all the talking. I was living for those facial expressions, guys! She did not have to verbally interrupt him. She spoke with a look. And when it was time for that open debate, she read him like a fucking book. She smelled his bullshit...and so did that fly!
Excellent job last night, Senator Harris! Looking forward to seeing you and Biden sworn into office in January, Ms. Veep!
