As if 2020 couldn't suck enough, Ruth Bader Ginsberg passes away.
The Supreme Court Justice died of complications from cancer. She was 87.
Ruth Bader Ginsberg was a pioneer. She fought for gender equality and she fought to protect the 14th Amendment. She was the second woman to serve on the Supreme Court.
Ginsberg did release a statement before she died, via her granddaugter Clara Spera:
"My most fervent wish is that I will not be replace until a new president is installed."
