Suzanne Somers has been a blonde bombshell since birth. She has been in every dudes spank bank since she graced the small screen on "Three's Company." Since her days on "Three's Company," she promoted the iconic Thighmaster, she continued acting, she overcame stage II breast cancer, and she has shared her opinions on aging. She once told cast members of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" that she plans on living to age 120.
If anyone can do it, it's her. She is currently 74 years old, and doesn't even look it. She uses alternative treatments, maintains a healthy diet, and a positive mind frame. She is so content in her own skin, she has no shame in being completely open and free. Recently, she remarked that she has sex with her husband 3 times before noon.
âOn Earth Day, Somers showed her appreciation for the Earth by being completely nude outside.
ââSurrounded by nature, this incredible free spirit looked right at home in a field of flowers, grass, rocks, and more. Her comments section were a combination of respect, ageism, and body-shaming. One person said that they love Suzanne Somers, but she was "too old to pose like this." One person questioned her level of classiness, and another said that she was "brave" to post such a strong photo. A few openly expressed their disgust at her naked body. Listen, posting that photo isn't brave. Living freely and openly is brave. The majority of humans live by societal standards. They follow the blueprint that society has put out. There are some of us who prefer to be free spirits. Suzanne Somers is a free spirit. She marches to the beat of her own drummer, she listens to her body, and she appreciates the beauty and complexity of Earth. In my opinion, the picture is stunning and beautiful. It's a work of art, and it shows how free she feels. She is not held back. She takes everything in and does not waste a single fucking second of her life. Suzanne Somers is a rare jewel, and I hope to God I'm half as cool as she is when I am 74!

Justine Bateman is rocking her 50s like a boss, and she is not here for your ageist comments.4/16/2021
File this under: Fuck society's beauty standards, I'm going to be a bad ass 'mama jama' who gives zero fucks!
'Family Ties' actress Justine Bateman told Glamour Magazine that she is still getting criticized for her "aging looks." People expect Bateman, 55, to be in full glam, hide all traces of aging, and be perfect. Justine Bateman is perfectly content wearing moisturizer and black eyeliner (me too, girl!). "Iâm like, âFuck it, I donât care, I like how it looks!' Some people even say, âIf she would just change her makeup, sheâd look a lot prettier,â but I donât care. Itâs cool-looking, so Iâm going to keep doing it." She talked about how she is turning a deaf ear to criticism and society's standards. "Put stuff out there that you want to do, because if it gets rejected, at least you know you were faithful to that work. But if you put it out there to do what you think people like, then you betrayed that piece of work. So why not try to become totally deaf to the criticism? Then you can do whatever you want."
Back in February, Bateman posted an Instagram picture that showed every wrinkle on her face, her crows feet, and various other features. She even pointed out where all her "imperfections" were located on her face.
The post was in reference to her book "Face: One Square Foot of Skin," which came out on April 6, 2021 (I will be purchasing it next paycheck). The book discusses the damaging attitude that society has toward women and aging, and how we need to take a look at WHY women are afraid of aging.
On top of releasing this book, Bateman has been hard at work promoting her new movie, Violet, which she directed. The movie is an official 2021 SXSW selection, and it stars Olivia Munn and Justin Theroux. In today's society, it's all about looking young. You aren't allowed to look old. I will even go a step further: you aren't allowed to get old at all. Look at legendary actresses in Hollywood. A lot of them don't even look like their age. In order to get work, you have to look young. There are actresses who are 40, and they are being offered grandmother roles, because they look "old." This actually happened to Carrie-Anne Moss the day after she turned 40. If you give birth over the age of 35, you are considered a geriatric mom (I was 35 when I had my son, and "geriatric mom" is ALL OVER my medical records). Chronological ageism needs to end. Physical ageism needs to end, and we need to tell society to eff its beauty standards. There is nothing wrong with aging gracefully. Honestly, aging gracefully in this society is empowering, and it's a big middle finger to archaic and patriarchal standards.
âIf you feel that you need to get work done, I'm not here to judge you. Like Justine Bateman, I'd like to know why getting older is such a fear of yours.
Justine Bateman, you are a strong bad ass woman, and I cannot wait to read your book! Thank you for keeping it real! <3 #MyHero
