Sooo...how does it taste?
I bought this product last week and have been testing it everyday, using it in different ways. I bought the folded plant egg product pictured above, and heated it up in the microwave. I will highly, highly, highly recommend that you follow the rules for heating this up in the microwave. Wrap it in a paper towel, and place it on a microwave safe dish. After cooking it in the microwave for a minute and a half, it will come out fluffy like regular eggs. When you taste it, you can tell that it isn't a regular egg product.
Regardless, it is incredibly good! It has the texture of the egg, it tastes amazing, and I wasn't desiring a regular egg. I paired it with a bagel the first morning. The next morning, I paired it with sliced avocado.
As for the price, it isn't too expensive. It varies anywhere from $3 to $5, depending on where you buy it.
I will definitely be buying this product again. It is well worth it, and it fits my plant-based food journey.
